The newly built "Wetzstoa Chalet" in Unterammergau, completed in 2023, is the perfect address for anyone looking for absolute peace and quiet in an idyllic landscape without compromising on high living standards.
Covering an area of approximately 126 m2, this charming chalet offers spacious accommodation for up to 6 people on two floors: The heart of the house is the bright, cozy living/dining area with smart TV and the adjoining open kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances. Two cozy bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with a double bed and bunk beds) ensure a good night's sleep. The modern bathroom with bathtub and shower offers direct access to the outdoor wellness area with sauna and jacuzzi. On the open gallery on the first floor, you can enjoy the great view of the Ammergau Alps from the couch (which can also be used as a sofa bed) with a delicious drink from the house bar. Up here, our younger guests will also find plenty of space to play. On the terrace and in the garden, you can relax in the outdoor dining area with barbecue or on the deck chairs. Your four-legged friends are also very welcome.
The chalet has a washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron, ski boot warmer, and a storage room for skis and bicycles. We are also happy to provide a baby cot and high chair.
You can park your car in the chalet's carport or outside on the property. A charging station is available for electric cars (billed according to consumption).
Furthermore, you can enjoy the benefits of the Königscard during your stay.
The Wetzstoa Chalet is located in a very quiet area on the outskirts of the small village of Unterammergau, where whetstone manufacturing played an important role in the past. The village shop, various restaurants, the ski lift, and the train station are just a few minutes' walk away. The nearest supermarkets are about 2 km away (approximately 5 minutes by car). In addition, the neighbouring town of Oberammergau and the Ammergau Alps region offer countless opportunities for cultural and sporting leisure activities in every season.
