The centre is within walking distance and has several restaurants and shops. Every morning you can get delicious fresh rolls from the local bakery
Wald- Königsleiten is located between three famous ski areas. The Zillertal Arena, Wildkogel Arena and the Kitzbühel ski area. The Zillertal Arena and the Kitzbühel ski area are ideal for those who want to cover many kilometres on the slopes. The Wildkogel Arena ski area, on the other hand, is ideal for families with children. The longest winter toboggan run in Europe is in Bramberg.
In the summer, too, there is plenty to do in this region. Due to its location directly at the national park, Hohe Tauern, this location is perfect for many beautiful walks or mountain bike tours. A visit to the Krimml waterfall or the beautiful Gerlos reservoir are definitely worthwhile. If you are a real water rat, take a dip in the public Kristall swimming pool. Here you will also find (mini) golf courses
