The "Blaue Haus" is a charming, listed and lovingly renovated building in Swiss house style dating from 1908. It is situated in a sunny, central location, close to the historic centre of Partenkirchen in the well-known holiday resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and close to many great hiking trails, cable cars and ski areas.

There is a shared garden which you are welcome to use. A small beer garden and a bus stop are right next to the house. The nearest supermarket and a bakery are 350 m and a 4-minute walk away respectively. It is a 20-minute walk (1.6 km) to the train station and the Olympic facilities, and a 25-minute walk (2 km) to the city centre will take you to many shops, restaurants and the city's charming architecture. The nearest cable car is 8 minutes (3.4 km) away, and after 12 km or 21 minutes by car you can reach the Zugspitzbahn, where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Alps.
