The rustic but charming holiday home “la Monticana” is nestled within the hilly countryside just outside of Frigiliana and is a great accommodation for hiking and biking holidays, while also being close to the sea. The holiday home consists of a living room, a dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (one with 2 single beds) as well as 2 bathrooms (one is en suite with a shower and one shared with a bathtub) and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, air conditioning, fans, a fireplace, a safe, satellite television, a baby cot and a highchair (both upon request). The beautiful private outdoor area boasts an open terrace with a seating area, where you can start the day with breakfast in the sun or spend the evenings with a glass of wine and delicious barbecued dinners. The pool invites you to take swims in the beautiful mountain panorama before basking in the deck chairs, from where you can see the ocean in the distance. The closest supermarket is located a 6-minute drive (2.7 km) away and a restaurant serving local dishes can be reached after a 5-minute drive (2.5 km). The centre of Frigiliana is a 10-minute drive (3.6 km) away, where you can find many more shops, restaurants and cafés along the town’s picturesque narrow streets. The typical Andalusian town of Nerja is a 20-minute drive (11 km) away and is famous for its many events, bars, restaurants and the scenic coastline with sandy beaches. Furthermore, the city wonderful of Málaga, birthplace of Pablo Picasso, is situated a one-hour drive (60 km) southwest of the property and the airport is also a one-hour drive (72 km) away.



Parking spaces are available on the property. Bed linens and towels are included in the price, and for long stays of more than 2 weeks, an additional set of linens and towels will be provided.. Pets are not allowed. Please let the homeowner know if you need the cot and the highchair.



The pool is open all year round.
