Unique house with terrace and direct water view at the entrance to the nature reserve.

You can hardly be right by the sea and the landscape conservation area, more closely connected to nature than here. Located close to the historic Charlotte windmill, this house was once a barn and was later inhabited by the pump manager. Birds can be observed from the kitchen, the wetted areas of the Birk breeding ground and habitat. From the living room to the other side there is a view of the Geltinger Noor and the open Baltic Sea. In winter she lies almost frozen or agitated in front of the house, in summer you can hear the call of the seagulls, the water ripples to the garden, a light wind pulls over the wooden terrace.

From here, the Geltinger Birk nature reserve can be wonderfully explored on foot or by bike. The beaches of the Gelting Bay and Wackerballig, Falshöft and Pottloch are quickly reached. Lovely excursion destinations are the enchanting harbor town of Kappeln, the fishing village of Maasholm, the pretty Schleidörfer and the city of Flensburg.
