Private vacation home
About This Property
Solitary with a large garden at Geltinger Noor, the Müllerkate is located directly at the entrance to the Geltinger Birk nature reserve. From the little Kate built in 1806, the miller was able to watch the Charlotte windmill. The small window in one of the two bedrooms is a historical holdover from this period. The house offers water views on both sides. The bedrooms offer a view of the wet areas of the Geltinger Birk. Up to 200 species of birds can be observed here throughout the year. From the living room and kitchen as well as the terrace and the large garden you can see the Geltinger Noor and to the right of the open Baltic Sea. This little Kate is a retreat for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. In winter you can enjoy the roaring fire in the oven and look over the icy Noor. In summer, the garden and view of the water make you forget everyday life.
From here, the beaches of the Gelting Bay in Falshöft, Wackerballig and Pottloch are quickly reached. Lovely excursion destinations are the enchanting harbor town of Kappeln, the fishing village of Maasholm, the pretty Schleidörfer and the city of Flensburg.
