Historic watermill with an enchanting, large garden not far from the village of Gelting, the beaches of the Gelting Bay and the Geltinger Birk nature reserve.

Already in the 14th In the 19th century there was a mill on this property, in which the beams for the middle house of the castle were probably also sawn. This sawmill has been in its current form since 1928, built by the well-known architect Jürgen Bachmann. Only the gate remains from the system that was fed from the mill pond, but in other areas the mill has hardly lost its romance.

The house impresses with its angular division over three levels. The large living room with historic beams is flooded with light through its architecturally exceptional window and opens up a view of the tree tops.

The large enchanted garden of the watermill, separated by a hedge, runs along the idyllic rural cul-de-sac on the castle moat, in which there are only four houses. Here you are still within walking distance of the village of Gelting with its playground and shops, but you can also quickly reach the nature reserve and the nearby beaches of Gelting Bay in Falshöft, Wackerballig and Pottloch by bike and car.

Lovely excursion destinations are the enchanting harbor town of Kappeln, the fishing village of Maasholm, the pretty Schleidörfer and the city of Flensburg.
