Casa Poniente is a three bedroom chalet with a private pool, situated in a gated community with little traffic in Los Caños de Meca, near the Trafalgar lighthouse. The house stands out for its attractive modern architecture and interior decoration. The living room is equipped with satellite TV (English news channels), internet access (WIFI) and a beautiful open fireplace which makes this a suitable home for winter holidays, especially in combination with the hot & cold air conditioning. The stylish kitchen is very well equipped and has an oven and a dishwasher. The master bedroom has a double bed, a small walk-in closet and a very modern ensuite shower room. The two twin bedrooms share a family bathroom. All bedrooms have air conditioning. Behind the house there is a covered terrace which looks onto the 8 x 4 m pool and the BBQ. Stairs that lead to the roo terrace were just finished, so you can enjoy the wonderful view to the coast of Trafalgar. Two cars can be parked in the front yard.

discount (electricity up to 100€ included) Casa Poniente is located in a cul-de-sac in the tranquil residential area of Caños de Meca, just past the turn to the famous Cape Trafalgar lighthouse. One of the local beaches is particularly popular with kite surfers. Caños de Meca is very laid-back in low season, however, you will find a few open shops and restaurants. During the summer months it becomes a busy place, and you may be able to spot a few Spanish celebrities on the beach. Nature lovers will enjoy the proximity of the La Breña Natural Park, an extensive pine forest with a unique indigenous fauna and flora, and a hiking track along the imposing cliffs between Caños de Meca and Barbate. Enjoy a picnic on the way, and take in the knockout views over the coastline and across the ocean to the shores of Northern Morocco. The fishing town of Barbate is a 10-minute drive, Conil and Vejer are 15 minutes.
