A year-round two storey cottage with terrace, garden, incredible mountain view is situated 70 meters close to the snow safe first-class skiing area “Dachstein West” (46 lifts & 140 km ski runs). Enjoy skiing, sledging, ice skating, horse slide riding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing - walking, trekking, mountain biking on signed bike paths, uncountable hiking trails & climbing tours of all grades between spring/autumn directly in front of the door, or relax on terrace. You are close to diversified nature (canyon, waterfall, virgin forest), to all outdoor sports, child-friendly lakes, historical towns, places & cultural events. Relax afterwards by the fireside in this friendly house of (not treated) wood surrounded by mountains creating an atmosphere, that I can’t describe, you must feel it. In 50 km you reach World Heritage Site Salzburg & Salzkammergut with wonderful lakes, hot springs, historical places, castles & towns, ice caves, antique (salt-)mines. House can be reached by car.

Hiking, walking, trekking: On all the mountains nearby you will find routes for climbers as well as for families, everywhere are mountain pastures with a wonderful prospect: The Dachstein glacier and the Gosau lake to his feet, the Postalm – the largest alp area of Austria (20min. by car with a wonderful view over lakes, mountains,...) you can walk or use the ski-lift to bring you higher, you walk alone or choose a guided walking-tour to the virgin forest with trees you normally do not find in the alps (its free for you with the guest card).

Swimming: In our beautiful lakes in drinking water quality.

Mountainbiking: Mountainbikers can choose between 20 routes (Dachsteinrunde (173 km, 4600 Hm), Salzburger Almentour (146 km, 4170 Hm), Edtalm- (24,6 km), Hornspitz- (21,7 km) und Kreslroute (17,5 km) of different difficulties, from these longer to safe and short distance routes for families with children.
