The very quiet apartment is about 75 square meters and was lovingly renovated and renovated in 2019. It is located on the ground floor of a two-family house on the outskirts of Issigau with a wonderful view over the gentle hills of the Franconian Forest as far as Thuringia. The apartment is very suitable as a starting point for hikes and bike tours (Rennsteig). The Franconian mountain path leads not far from the house.
The property is over 1200 square meters, so there is always a nice sunny corner where you can read and relax undisturbed. There are comfortable lounge chairs, a grill on a large terrace and a pallet seating area with a fireplace.
The comfortably furnished bedroom is equipped with parquet and shutters, a double bed (180x200) and a small reading corner. The approximately 36 square meter living room offers plenty of space and is equipped with tiles and underfloor heating. You can relax on the two cozy couches in front of the ethanol fireplace. TV, DVD player with a selection of DVDs, various Board games, books of every genre for a varied stay are abundant. The kitchen with large fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave is equipped with everything that makes both short and long stays comfortable. For the first day we offer you the opportunity to make a purchase for you and to fill the refrigerator according to your ideas. Spices, salt, sugar, oil etc. are just as much a part of the basic equipment as Zewa, washing utensils and toilet paper.
The bathroom with window is equipped with a floor-level shower and both underfloor heating and a towel radiator.
In the village there is a baker, a butcher and a small department store. The tourist information and an ATM are located in the town hall.
From Issigau you have no long ways to go. It is just under 5 km to the A9 motorway, 9 km to Naila for shopping (Lidl, Netto, Kaufland, DM, Deichmann, etc.), 8 km to Bad Steben (thermal baths, casino, spa park, Edeka), and 18 km to Hof.
Many sights can be explored in a day trip, e.g. B. Kronach, Coburg, Kulmbach, Bayreuth, Bamberg, Regensburg, Nuremberg, Dresden, Leipzig.
But also various smaller and larger lakes and dams (e.g. Bleilochtalsperre) can be reached within short distances. Schwarzenbach am Wald and Döbraberg are well suited for winter sports. The Höllental (only 3 km) with the Selbitz or the Thierbach valley will certainly fascinate you just as much as the medieval town of Lichtenberg and the many hiking trails and magical views.
