The spruce forest typical of the Black Forest with 30 meter high trees begins directly in the rear part of the property. From here you can take wonderful forest walks and reach the famous Titisee view with a wonderful view of the lake after a short time.
Falkau lies exactly in the triangle between Feldberg, Titisee and Schluchsee and therefore offers wonderful excursion destinations for skiers, hikers and bathers in the immediate vicinity.
The university town of Freiburg can be reached in about 40 minutes by car and is also always worth a trip.
