In the heart of the Uckermark Lakes Nature Park lies the state-recognized island town of Lychen, which boasts seven lakes within its immediate urban area. The Uckermark lake district consists of expansive forests, lush meadows, rolling hills, and rushing streams. Secluded lakes can be found throughout the region.
