Butterfly farm 3 km, Usedom Baederbahn stop just a few minutes' walk away. The best way to explore the area around Trassenheide is on the well-developed cycling and hiking trails. The longest hiking trail on Usedom runs directly through Trassenheide. Numerous sights can be visited on the way from Peenemünde to the town of Usedom.
