With the Fichtelberg, the spa town of Oberwiesenthal offers the largest alpine ski area in eastern Germany. A total of 10 slopes with different levels of difficulty and a large network of cross-country routes await winter holidaymakers. The history of Himmelmühle The district of Himmelmühle, which belonged to Falkenbach until 1956, is located between Selva and the Wiesenbad thermal baths in the charming Zschopau valley, near the confluence of the Pöhlbach and the Zschopau.
