Numerous hiking trails offer themselves in our incomparable region, whether the Burgsponheimer Grafenrunde, a 4.9 km circular route through Burgsponheim, its vineyards as well as the donjon, many linked round hiking ways in our region, the Sponheimer way, in the footsteps of the counts of Sponheim or the Hildegard pilgrimage, are at the door. Cycle paths that run through the picturesque landscape: the Kleinbahnradweg, a circular course about 34 km. Or the Naheradweg, from Idar Oberstein to Bingen. A visit to Bingen am Rhein is worthwhile, just as the city of Bad Kreuznach - Bad Münster am Stein, the gemstone town of Idar Oberstein and Bad Sobernheim with open-air museum and the unique barefoot path.
