The beautiful, comfortably furnished apartment is located on the 1st floor of a house near the historic center of Wernigerode in the Harz Mountains. With the Harz narrow-gauge railroad you can travel from Wernigerode to the Brocken or to other destinations in the Harz. Shopping facilities as well as various restaurants and cafes can be reached in a few minutes on foot. Hiking trails to the most beautiful destinations in the Harz Mountains start right here at the front door. Wernigerode offers something for every season. Even winter sports enthusiasts can start from here to the most beautiful winter sports opportunities in the Harz.



From here you can reach historic cities like Quedlinburg 28 km, Halberstadt 24 km, Blankenburg 21 km or excursion destinations like the town of Thale 26 km with all its attractions like Hexentanzplatz, cable car, chair lift, Harzer Bergtheater, zoo, Thale Roßtrappe, the bobsled run and much more. The imperial city of Goslar is always worth a visit, you can reach it after about 37 km by car. Pullman City the western town in Hasselfelde is 27 km away. The Rappbode dam with its attractions in about 21 km away.

The Brocken, the highest mountain in the Harz, can be reached comfortably with the Harz narrow-gauge railroad or on foot.
