The inviting, very quiet, pipe-covered cottage "Haus an der Wiek" was built around 1860, making it one of the oldest fishermen's houses in Gager. It was lovingly modernized in 2019 and offers everything your heart desires. To the south you have a view of the biosphere reserve Zickersche Alpen. To the north are the Bodden with the Hagen Wiek and the hunting lodge Granitz. The holiday community Gager is located directly in the biosphere reserve southeast Rügen and is a place of rest and relaxation in a beautiful rural idyll. On the one hand a beautiful Bodden landscape, on the other unique sandy beaches and the vastness of the Baltic Sea and in the middle and right in front of the house on the Wiek the highest elevations Mönchgut. The Baltic Sea beach with textile, dog and nudist area can be reached in five minutes by car and in ten minutes by bike. The modernized port of Gager shines in new splendor. He is especially popular with sailors. From here you can also take excursions by boat to Peenemünde (Usedom) and around Vilm. On certain days of the week you can buy fresh fish directly from the fisherman. Also sporty the Mönchgut makes the hearts beat faster. Just think of the wonderful hiking destinations, the fantastic running and Nordic walking routes and the well-developed kilometers of cycle paths. Not to forget that there are surf schools in the immediate vicinity of Gager (stand up paddling, kitesurfing, surfing, etc.), the island of Rügen is a real paradise for fishermen. At the beginning of the village Gager is a bus stop (five minutes walk). Shopping sources include the Bodden girl and a small shop on the campsite, both five minutes walk from the house. In addition to a tourist information office, there are two very good restaurants with great down-to-earth cuisine, which are both within a five-minute walk.

House on the Wiek with terrace:
The approx. 65 m² old fisherman's holiday home "Haus an der Wieck" (Non smoking) is for max. 2 to 3 adults + 1 toddler up to 3 years in travel cot. In the entrance area is a cloakroom with a sufficiently large shoe cabinet in the country house style. From here you can reach all rooms. The modern and separate furnished living room has a sofa bed with cold foam mattress, which can be increased in a few steps from 0.70 mx 2.00 m to 1.40 mx 2.00 m. A height-adjustable coffee table, a reading light, a lowboard with a large Smart TV (55 inches) and soundbar, a Blu-Ray player with USB port, radio, CD player with USB and a small selection of books and board games complete this area. The technical area is rounded off by a WLAN. The kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, 4-zone ceramic hob with oven, bread machine, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, egg cooker, blender and various kitchen utensils offers everything needed for cooking. For a cozy get-together, the house on the Wiek has two dining rooms. A large one with flat screen TV and view of the biosphere reserve Zickersche Alpen and a small one overlooking the Hagensche Wiek. The country-style bedroom has a double bed (1,80m x 2,00m), adjustable slatted frames, bedside tables, full length mirrors and a large wardrobe. Darkening pleats, curtains and insect screens ensure a long and restful sleep. The modern daylight bathroom is equipped with a toilet, a sink with cabinet, a mirror cabinet, a large floor-deep real glass shower and a hair dryer. In a small adjoining room are a washing machine and a 42 liter freezer. The rear exit leads to the inviting and furnished terrace (north) with a beautiful view of the Hagensche Wiek and the hunting lodge Granitz. The terrace can be shaded with a high quality awning. Sun loungers with cushions for sunbathing are available. A nice ambience for romantic sunsets. On colder evenings, an infrared heater provides comforting warmth. The house is allergic friendly, so pets are not allowed. The living room and bedroom has a wooden parquet floor. The rest of the house is designed with PVC flooring. In addition, each room has an insect screen. An electric barbeque, an ironing board, an iron, cleaning utensils and a clothes horse are included. Furthermore, a high chair and a travel cot (without mattress, without Bettinlett) for the younger guests available and included. Your brought or borrowed bikes can be parked on the property, where external outlets also give you the opportunity to charge your e-bikes. A parking space is available on the property inclusive. The initial equipment of a linen package (complete bed linen, 1 towel, 2 small towels) you can book up to 14 days before arrival for an additional charge or supplement by your own. For packages booked for 2 or more, you will receive 1 dish towel and 1 shower mat once.

Arrivals are possible from 16:00 to 19:00 and departures from 07:00 to 10:00.
