Our Timpenspieker comes from the 17th Century and served as a storage and residential house for craftsmen over 300 years. In 1996, our previous owners - also craftsmen - acquired the building and renovated it from the ground up. We have made again careful modernization and are now happy about this historic, very cozy gem with excl. Fully equipped in the heart of Lüneburg.
'Timpen', the square with a beech hedge in front of the house with a small playground under old linden trees, and 'Speicher' were the basis for the naming of our gem, the 'Timpenspieker'. It is located directly on the edge of the historic old town of Lüneburg. From here you can stroll in just 5 minutes into the heart of the pedestrian zone - z. For breakfast in one of the cozy street cafes or in one of the museums or for swimming in the 'Salü'.


Trip to Hamburg: Hamburg can be reached by train via the Hanover-Hamburg expressway in just 30 minutes. The Lüneburg station is located on the other side of the old town and can be reached either on foot in about 20 minutes or by bus in 10 minutes.
By car it is also about 30 minutes via the good motorway connection directly into the city center of Hamburg.
