The detached stone house Amathianis is set in a beautiful hillside location above the bay of Triopetra and offers a unique view across the southern coast of Crete and the Libyan Sea. The holiday house was named after the old district of Amathianis and is set in beautiful and quiet surroundings. The detached two-storey house is tastefully and comfortably furnished following the architecture of old Cretan farmhouses. There are several terraces, some in a sunny spot and some roofed with a pergola, that invite you to relax and chill and enjoy the wide open view across the sea. The large and enclosed nature property is partly terraced, covered with Mediterranean plants and olive trees and provides options for withdrawal and retreat.

Since the property is terraced it has a ground-level entrance to the first floor while the basement hosts some storage/utility rooms. From the outside the house looks rather rustic and country-style which matches the stone walls and the modern interior. From the living room you have a spectacular view across the hilly landscape of southern Crete and the blue sea. The spacious living room is connected to the half-open kitchen with a dining area. From the living room you have access to both bedrooms with a shared bath. The perfect spot to watch unforgettable sunsets is the private terrace in front of the living room. The roofed terrace is facing south-west and is wind-sheltered and privacy screened. Towards the side of the holiday house and on level further down there is another terrace with sunbeds.

There is lots of space for quality time together with family or friends to enjoy cooking, chilling and simply relax. Tranquillity, a comfortable living ambience, Mediterranean country idyll, spectacular views, magnificent sandy beaches and a very clean sea and a charming coastal landscape, is what you can expect in the holiday house Amathianis.

The distance to the next village Akoumia is about 10km. The distance to Spili, where you have a wide choice of shopping facilities is approx. 20km. About 2,3km from the holiday houses, on the small and on the large beach of Triopetra, are some taverns.

About 30 metres to the side of the Amathianis holiday home and two levels lower, due to the slope of the property, there is another house occupied by landlords.
