In the middle of the holiday region southern East Frisia, we warmly welcome you to our cozy Fehnhaus. Our holiday home Fehnkolonie was again checked in 2018 according to the current guidelines of the German Tourism Association (DTV) and awarded 4 stars. It is located in Hesel-Beningafehn, in a typical Fehn landscape, known for its canals, bogs, well-kept gardens, water and vastness. Due to its close proximity to the Stikelkamp forest, the East Friesland hiking trail and the German Fehnroute, it is the ideal starting point for extensive hikes and bike tours. Anglers also get their money's worth due to the many fish-rich waters around Hesel. The German North Sea coast can be reached comfortably in about 45-60 minutes by car, so a day trip to the East Frisian Islands is no problem. Interesting leisure activities also result from the proximity to the Dutch border in the west and the eastern Ammerland with its park-like landscapes. The holiday home Fehnkolonie was extensively renovated and modernized in 2013 without losing the local character and charm. Visit us and discover the East Frisian cosiness and hospitality.

Holiday home Fehnkolonie:
Modern furnished holiday home for max. 5 adults, with a large garden, children's paradise with sandpit, swing, slide, goal wall, various children's vehicles and a covered terrace to relax.  Ground floor: On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with dining area: large table, cozy East Frisian sofa and four chairs (also high chair available). A fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge incl. Freezer, microwave, coffee filter machine, Tassimo, toaster, blender, food processor and everything you need. A flat screen TV is in the cozy kitchen. Adjacent to the bedroom with a double bed (1.80 mx 2.00 m) and a 5-door wardrobe. The tasteful living room has a large living area and a second flat screen TV. Our modern bathroom is also on the ground floor with a rain shower (with flat access), toilet, sink and hairdryer and towels included. A separate toilet is on the ground floor, as is a safe for your valuables. Washing machine or dryer can be used on request for a surcharge of EUR 2.00. Upper floor: There is a large and tastefully furnished multi-bed room on the upper floor. It has two single beds (0.90 mx 2.00 m) that can be put together if required, as well as a third bed (1.40 m x 2.00 m) and an additional child's cot. An additional toilet with sink is available on the upper floor. A changing mat, toilet seat, potty, diaper pail, bath tub and high chair are available for small children. No pets.

Arrival is possible from 14:00 to 18:00 and departure from 07:00 to 10:00.
