The former farmhouse (200 sqm) is like a small island surrounded by meadows and hedgerows. It was lovingly renovated and modernized by us. Up to 8 people (+ 1 cot) can be accommodated in the four bright, nicely furnished bedrooms. It is also possible to add three more guest folding beds. Kitchen, dining and living area are very generously designed and blend into each other. The house has an oil central heating. On cool evenings, on request, the stove spreads a cozy atmosphere. Of course there is a playroom for the children. Some board games, books, wooden toys and Lego are available. In the house there is a bathroom with toilet, vanity, shower and bath, a bathroom with sink, shower and washing machine and a separate toilet with hand basin.

For example, you can visit the Hollesand nature reserve - a woodland and heathland area - and climb the Kugelberg, the highest natural elevation in East Frisia. You can visit the Lengener Meer, one of the largest moor lakes in Germany. Nearby there is the Moorerlebnispfad, a fortified circular route through the moor.
Wagon rides on horseback can be booked directly with the neighbor.
Water rats get their money's worth in the bathing lake Großsander, which is about 5 minutes away by car.
By Uplengens convenient location you can quickly in the surrounding cities Leer, Emden, Aurich, Wiesmoor, Oldenburg, Papenburg, Bad Zwischenahn or Groningen in the Netherlands. Even day trips to the East Frisian Islands are very popular.
