Kalivi Elena has been rebuilt from a partly collapsed small kalivi into a holiday house for 2 persons. A kalivi is a traditional, mostly built of stone, cottage in the countryside where the farmers' families would stay when they were working on their land. Goats, chickens and rabbits slept downstairs and the people upstairs would benefit from their warmth.

There is an open mezzanine bedroom with double bed, which has good quality, comfortable matress. The fully equipped, large kitchen is built in traditional style but with all modern comforts. A large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, four-burner electric stove and everything you need to not only for breakfast, but also to prepare a delicious dinner. The kitchen is large enough to allow comfortable eating inside. The living room has two armchairs that can be converted into two single spare beds. There is a functional fireplace and air conditioning. In the bathroom downstairs, formerly the shelter for the animals, a spacious shower, sink and toilet is fitted. Towels, beach towels, bed linen, tea towels and hair dryer are all provided.

Outside you will be happily surprised to find a hot/cold shower, where you can enjoy showering with sea views in all privacy!!! There is also a small shed with garden tools, laundry rack and washing machine. On the sun terrace one can enjoy the surrounding nature and the view of the sea and the mountains of Evia. Under a big tree near the Kalivi, there is also a shaded terrace with 2 loungers. Still not convinced? Check out the pictures.
