About This Property
The old oil mill was the residence of a Russian-Belgian couple for 20 years, until it was acquired in 1977 by the German painter Klaus Bendixen, who established his studio there. Today the upper floor of the house is inhabited by the current owner. The lower floor is at guests' disposal, who enjoy the rest in the middle of nature.
The house has been completely restored, the original character preserved as far as possible.
The lower floor has a size of about 90 m².
On the floor of Klaus's former old-fashioned, there are still traces of paint which remain as memories. Some of his pictures adorn the walls.
Ideally, there is room for two people (also with children). There is the following Schlafmöglichk: a double bed (160 x 200), a sofa bed (140 x 190 cm) and a sofa bed (80 x 205 cm).
The kitchen is well equipped and ideal for self catering. The kitchenette has an induction cooker.
In the bathroom there is a shower, as well as an outdoor shower in the open-air garden, ideal for the summer.
In the garden are table, seating, parasol and two sun loungers available.
Borgo Muratori is located in the hinterland of Diano Marina, on the Riviera ligure di ponente, between Alassio and Sanremo.
The distance to the beach and the sea is 5 minutes by car. There is a large public car park in the village. Leave your vehicle at the height of the ancient chapel of San Biagio from where an old donkey trail leads you to Casa Klaus after 150 meters.

Motorway A10 - Genova Ventimiglia, exit San Bartolomeo al mare, then reach Diano Marina Borgo Muratori in 10 to 15 minutes.
