The finca "El Molino Viejo" in the green Hermiguatal in the northeast of La Gomera is surrounded by banana plantations and fruit trees in a very quiet secluded location and yet not far from the village center.

The old Canarian mill has been converted into a quaint, cozy cottage and offers a beautiful setting for a relaxing holiday on the hiking island of La Gomera.

Even if you walk through the iron entrance gate on the large terrace on the old stone house, you feel safe and well cared for. In front of the house, under a massive wooden roof, is the veranda with the dining table and four chairs. Here you can take the meals outdoors or let the evening end with a glass of wine comfortably. For a hearty barbecue a rustic barbecue is available.

According to the old Canarian tradition, the covered porch connects the individual rooms. From here, three doors lead into the house. First, the living room / bedroom: two comfortable single beds pushed together to make a wide double bed and a large wardrobe forming the sleeping area in the back of the room.

A sofa, an armchair with a reading lamp and a low table are part of the living area. The sofa bed can accommodate one more adult or two children. There is also a TV and a Wifi connection.

Many historical details, such as the old millstone or the decoratively attached to the wall reminiscent of the time when the finca "El Molino Viejo" was still a mill.

The second door leads to the small, fully equipped kitchen. There is everything you need in the holiday kitchen, as well as a dining table with four chairs.
Through the third door you get into the shower room / WC. A washing machine is also available.
