Holidays in cultural treasure Artland:
The Artland, located in the northern Osnabrück region, is a rural idyll: dominated by vast fields, without extraordinary heights, it is ideal for quiet cycling. Wherever you to stop you in Artland, you see on the horizon at the same time a plurality of individually preferred Farms. Avenues and massive oaks surround the half-timbered farms and characterize the gentle park-like landscape, which is from time to time, traversed by the hare, a small tributary of the Ems, with a total length of 169.6 km. It is a landscape like a picture book. Courtyards, one of which says each Freilichtmuseum standing here for centuries. Manors, historic village centers, old village churches - a landscape that is much too good for a short visit. In Artland more than 600 buildings are listed buildings and constitute the "cultural treasure Artland".
Some farm owners have opened cafes, lead over their property and serve Artländer apple pie. In the immediate vicinity of our apartment is a historic windmill dating from 1785 with mill cafe and sawmill.
A well-marked theme route as the Artland-wheel tour guide cyclists through the geographically only small region: Barely 25 kilometers as an east-west direction and 15 kilometers from north to south measures the Artland. All who wish to spend their leisure time more actively, can sail on the nearby Dumber or Alfsee, rowing and pedal boating, or learn on the listed estate Groneick in Gehrde archery - the latter both indoors and outdoors. In the nearby city Burgmann Quakenbrück, which was in 1235 first mentioned and later was also Hanseatic city, the property is good Vehr, here swin golf, tastings, musical theater performances and much more is offered. The historic town of Quakenbrück is dominated by about 100 half-timbered houses from various centuries and is home to, among other things, the Weinhaus Köster, which has the largest wine cellar in Lower Saxony. True golfers in neighboring Ankum an 18 hole course that is playable all year round. The Artland Golf Club is surrounded by picturesque forests and large fields in the natural park. The course with its wide fairways follows the natural landscape conditions perfectly and is worth a visit. But the pin Börstel, a former Cistercian monastery in mountains, is worth seeing.
Amidst this idyllic setting, we have set in our farm, which was built in 1875, for you a 190 square meter apartment and look forward to welcoming you to us. The cottage style country invites to a relaxing holiday in scenic surroundings.
The cottage style country offers you a spacious, comfortably furnished apartment with four bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a large living and dining room, two bathrooms and a terrace and garden. A large hall with adjoining stables may be a popular setting. The large apartment can accommodate 7 people. Living room and bedroom are equipped with TV and Wi-Fi. The apartment has a separate entrance and is rented year-round.
