The hamlet of Fabbrica was built in Medieval times by the noble families of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. It sits on top of a hill, 150mt. above sea level, overlooking a magnificient scenery of vineyards, olive trees and gentle hills surrounding the town of Volterra. This hamlet, although many centuries have gone by, has not suffered from changes spoiling its characteristic flavour, keeping as true and typical as the people of Tuscany can witness.

The hamlet spreads over the highest spot called La Torre, where was the stronghold and other, gentler and less steep hills, the dwellings were built and amongst these we find villa Angelica.
This is an elegant liberty stile villa built around 1800, carefully restored approximately 10 years ago, maintaining its typical architecture. Some of the original furniture and furnishing, careful taste in every detail, give it an elegant feel, enriched by precious decorations, paintings and original arched ceilings bring us back in time and give us a taste of the place as it was.
Villa Angelica can accommodate up to 11 people.
The house is 400 square meters spread on two floors.

Ground floor: built in kitchen, fully equipped with oven, dishwasher, etc, ; store room; living room with stone fireplace, sofa, armchairs, sat TV; large frescoed withdrawing room; dining room with a large crystal table, library; shower room.
The first floor is reached via a stone and wrought iron staircase.
First floor: corridor leading to two double bedrooms ( the master bedroom has a four poster bed); another corridor leads to two twin/double bedrooms ( in three of these rooms it is possible to ad a single bed for children); 1 bathroom with tub; 1 shower room.

Outdoors: near the kitchen and living room, reached via 2 arched French windows is the garden with a stone floored loggia with table, chairs for al fresco dining, or relax on comfortable sofas, shaded by a hundred years old wisteria and admire the spectacular views of vineyards, olive trees, hills all the way to the marvellous city of Volterra.
From a tiled staircase reach the lower garden with two imposing lime trees, behind which, protected by a tufa wall, providing absolute privacy, on a dominant location is the swimming pool overlooking a stunning panorama. dimension: 12x4mt, depth 1.30mt ( suitable for children) with Jacuzzi relax points, sun beds, umbrellas, etc. provided.

Facilities included: water, gas, electricity, kitchen, bed and bath linen, final cleaning, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, TV, DVD, BBQ, gazebo, children’s playground with swing, table tennis, etc.


Within walking distance you find: food shop, bar/patisserie, bank, post office, chemist, doctor. Near by: typical restaurants ( we will be pleased to advise you), museums, trekking and mountain bike trails, horse riding, flying tours, golf, tennis, spa.
