If you arrive by car, you will find on the property a carport to the subordination.
Beach and pier with dive gondola are only about 200m away. Of course, the 13 km long sandy beach can also be explored by bike.
The harbor, which is about 500 m away, offers the opportunity for excursions on the water as well as the opportunity to enjoy a delicious fish meal.
A well-developed network of cycle paths makes excursions into nature an experience, either near the beach on the dike, through the Darßwald or inland.

Access to the peninsula Fischland-Darß-Zingst from the west is almost via the town of Ribnitz-Damgarten.
The amber town of Ribnitz-Damgarten is located between the Hanseatic cities of Rostock and Stralsund- on the south bank of the Bodden chain connected to the Baltic Sea - as a gateway to a charming coastal region. The city and its rural districts are surrounded by a landscape that is beautiful and varied, as well as diverse, colorful and of remarkable originality. North of Ribnitz-Damgarten begins the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park, in the west the Ribnitzer Great Moor and the Rostock Heath join, in the south the Recknitztal. Conserved, they provide shelter and habitat to rare plants and endangered species.

Culture, history, art and communication: If you believe the treasure hunter, who is looking for the 'gold of the sea', nowhere in northern Germany is there a better place for amber than the 'German Amber Museum' in Ribnitz-Damgarten. In addition to fantastic amber inclusions, jewelery and works of art from various epochs, the museum presents the amber in fascinating shades of color in its exhibition and follows the trail of the stones, which are actually not even, until the time of origin about 50 million years ago. New: the replica of a panel from the base area of the missing Königsberger Amber Room. The opportunity to work on an amber yourself is offered by the museum in a small workshop. Also housed in the Dominahouse of the monastery - as informative as well worth knowing - are an exposure to the city's history and the gallery of the Kunstverein für contemporary art. Artists of the region allow insights into the local art landscape.

Interesting sights nearby: The open air museum Klockenhagen: A museum of a completely different kind opens its doors in the spring. Its 200-300 year old, covered with reed low German farmhouses, cottages and barns invite you to linger. Close contact with the rural life of yesteryear seduces not only to dreaming. In the still functional oven is baked every fortnight, always on Saturday baked bread. Pigs, sheep, geese and other pets can be admired and caressed. Ribnitz-Damgarten has in its location Neuhof on an idyllic golf course, the golf club 'Zum Fischland'. The club welcomes all guests - beginners to handicap players - on the golf course. The provisional 9-hole course with driving range, practice bunker, pitch and putting green also meets the requirements of experienced golfers.
