Welcome to the house "Maris"

 in the idyllic Warfendorf Campen on the East Frisian North Sea coast!


Camping was first in the 10th Century mentioned. The place name means "in the fields"
and still testifies to the naturalness of the place.
It belongs to the art and cultural landscape of Krummhörn and is within sight of only 2 km from the North Sea coast.

An ideal starting point
- to climb the highest lighthouse in Germany (3 km away) and one
        unique view of the East Frisian Islands, over the Netherlands
        to get to the city of Emden.
- to take endless (also guided) bike rides and walks in the East Frisian Wadden Sea National Park
- to attend the kitesurfing school - also beginners' courses (5 km away)
- to get to know the seaport city of Emden, with the largest armory in Europe,
