The 250-person village of Urschmitt is located on the edge of the Vulkaneifel, approx. 18 km north of the Moselle metropolis of Cochem and approx. 60 km from Koblenz or Trier. Many hiking opportunities and a great landscape invite you to linger. Our cozy apartment has been lovingly furnished for up to 5 people. A highlight is the walk-in balcony, which you can easily reach from both bedrooms. The living room is furnished with a leather sofa, satellite TV and radio. There you can let your feet dangle after arrival. The first bedroom has a double bed (2m x 2m) and a wardrobe. The 2nd Bedroom is furnished with a double bed (1.4mx 2m), a single bed and a wardrobe. A cot and high chair are available on request. The bright kitchen room with fitted kitchen (electric stove (4 plates), oven, fridge and freezer), coffee machine, toaster and kettle is fully furnished. The bathroom has a bathtub in which you can relax and end the day, toilet and sink. Behind the house there is a meadow with grill, pavilion and garden furniture. There are enough parking spaces directly at the apartment. Bikers are welcome, there is a parking space for motorbikes on site. There is a children's playground 200 meters away.

In the area up to 20km there are numerous restaurants, from home-style to culturally different. There you can indulge in culinary delights according to all the rules of art. A highlight of the place is a "mom and pop shop", which has been run by the same family for over 70 years. There you can buy fresh bread in the morning and additional things for the day. More extensive shops can be found 7km away in Lutzerath. A swimming pool with waves is located in Cochem on the Moselle (18km). Not far away, the Klotten holiday park welcomes its visitors. Many attractions and wild animals offer fun for the whole family. In 2010 the nearby Bad Bertrich opened the Vulkaneifel-Therme, the only Glauber's salt spa in Germany - beneficial for body, mind and soul. A golf course is also easy to reach at a distance of 12 km. If you feel like a walk through nature, you can purchase hiking maps on site if you wish. On various hikes through the Eifel you will experience active volcanoes (Maare) filled with water, in some of them even swimming is allowed.
The world famous race track "Nürburging" is only 35 km away. Everyone is invited there on Sundays, even a lap on the legendary Nordschleife with their vehicle. also called "Green Hell".
