The quiet yet central location at the foot of the Watzmann and not far from the shore of the beautiful Königsee lake offers the best conditions for a relaxing and active vacation in the mountains.

Pure nature - summer and winter!
In the middle of the beautiful mountain landscape of the Berchtesgaden Alps, our quiet guest house is located on the edge of the Berchtesgaden National Park in the municipality of Schönau am Königssee.
Already in the 19th Century, the old trade loan was home to vacationers from all over the world. Since 2011 we have been offering two fully furnished apartments in our new building. A separate external staircase leads to the Steinbock holiday apartment with a spacious, covered balcony. The apartment Mankei on the ground floor offers you its own covered terrace area.

For bicycles, skis or the like, use a separate lockable drying room. In winter we provide sledges and skis on request.

Outside, little explorers can use the playground. Our “Tradenalm”, surrounded by lush meadows, is just the right place for a cozy picnic, a hearty snack in the evening sun or simply for a good book. Enjoy the beautiful view of the Watzmann, Grünstein and other mountain ranges from here.
