The light-flooded villa with various architectural elements from the 1930s is surrounded by terraces that extend over several levels and invite you to relax with a variety of seating options. The spectacular pool terrace with a crescent-shaped infinity pool and the pool house designed in the Moorish style of the 1930s has the atmosphere of a movie set, perfect for enjoying the unique sunsets in the sea and the endless starry sky. A romantic water lily pond with blue water lilies is integrated into the dreamlike natural backdrop. Modern and classic sculptures by various artists can be found throughout the grounds. The adjoining picturesque panoramic terrace is the ideal place for a sundowner.

High-quality materials also define the interior design of the house, where whitewashed walls contrast with the warm wooden frames of the doors and windows. The stylish interior design is complemented by bright primary colors that provide a fitting backdrop for the design classics and Bauhaus furniture. The antique terracotta floors from France harmonize with Le Corbusier and modern accents. Wall tiles from Morocco, hand-picked North African art and carefully selected furnishing elements complete the ambience with great attention to detail. The silver-plated washbasins in the bathrooms were handmade in Marrakech.
The villa has 3 double bedrooms on two floors, 3 bathrooms and a large living and dining area in the basement with adjoining covered outdoor terrace. Indoor and outdoor areas seem to merge into the unique surrounding vegetation and the endless blue of the ocean. The thick, partly natural stone walls keep the house warm in winter and cool in summer. The central heating and solar-heated pool also make it possible to stay all year round. Villa Botánica is located in Puntagorda, a picturesque village in the northwest of La Palma, a heart-shaped island with secluded beaches, volcanoes and dense forests. Located between the ravines of Garome and Izcagua, Puntagorda is surrounded by pine and almond trees and is famous for its almond blossom in January and February. Visit the Almendro en Flor festival in February with music, dancing and free almond and palm wine or the patron saint festival in August in honor of San Mauro Abad.
The Barranco de Izcagua and the forest of El Fayal are highly recommended excursion destinations nearby. A popular market, the Mercadillo, is held in the village at weekends, selling local produce, wine and cheese as well as handicrafts. Hiking trails lead directly from the villa into the unspoiled nature of the greenest island in the Canary Islands. The unique biodiversity of vegetation and fauna of “Europe's

La Palma is famous for its clear night skies with minimal light pollution, so you can experience a sky full of stars. The observatory on the Roque de Los Muchacho is one of the largest in the world and can be visited by prior reservation.
