The house is surrounded by olive trees that produce an excellent oil that you can buy in oil mills in the area. Reach the house through the small streets of the historic village of Calci, where you will find the beautiful Certosa, an ancient 14th century monastery that houses the Natural Science Museum of the University of Pisa. The accommodation is less than 10 km from Pisa, where you can admire the beautiful Piazza dei Miracoli with the world famous Leaning Tower, Piazza Cavalieri and the Lungarno. To Lucca, with its imposing city walls and charming historic center, it is less than 20 km. From Monte Serra (907 m a.s.l.) you can enjoy the unique view of the Pisan Valley all the way to the sea of the Pisan and Versilia coasts. The last part of the access road is not asphalted and not suitable for low cars.
