The place Medveja was named after the sorceress Medea, a character from Greek mythology, who on her travels came across a beautiful beach that she could not resist. In the evening, the beach becomes an entertainment centre with attractive after-beach parties. Visit the nearby Uka Nature Park, which is an ideal place to relax and unwind. Lovers of active holidays can enjoy the extraordinary nature here, which is home to many protected and rare animal and plant species. From the top of Vojak you have a phenomenal panoramic view of the Kvarner islands, Istria and Rijeka.
