In this wonderful detached house at an altitude of over 1,300 meters you will find everything you need to have a good time: security and freedom, light and air, plenty of space for socializing as well as silence and seclusion.

As soon as you have entered, you are already at the center of the action: a well-equipped open kitchen cleverly connects the light-flooded living room and the adjoining spacious dining area with 8 seats. An almost floor-level window front stretches across the entire width of the house by a good 10 meters: from the inside you have a breathtaking 180 ° view of the Amadé mountains, the summits and slopes of which are within your reach, both summer and winter.


In front of this window front is a very spacious terrace of around 120 square meters. In the shelter of the canopy, you spend wonderful hours sheltered from the wind at a rustic table with a bench that can seat up to 20 people.

But even in a hearty, modern house, it can be endured well: a beautiful open fireplace with a large glass pane not only radiates warmth, but also a homely atmosphere. The main heating source in winter, however, is the 'Bulli', a round oven that cleverly functions as a room divider to the dining area, which can soon bring the house to a good 20 ° room temperature if required. It's a good thing that they also thought about it: the seats on the surrounding bench are more than in demand, especially after a winter sports day!

In the front area of the house there are 2 of the 3 bedrooms. These are openly connected and offer space for up to 6 people in quaint, cozy 'berths'. The 3rd Bedroom with a spacious double bed is directly adjacent to the living room.

The house has 2 bathrooms, on the ground floor with 2 sinks and a shower and toilet, in the sauna area with a large corner bath and separate toilet.

The expanded basement offers a fitness room equipped with exercise equipment and a sauna, which can accommodate up to 4 people.

The house stands freely on a hillside and is surrounded by a good 1,600 square meters of naturally overgrown, well-kept grounds. It is the top house on this mountain, only the forest is above. The closest neighbors who run a farm there all year round are 500 meters down. You can start wonderful hiking tours directly from the house.
Our local mountain, the Hochgründeck, can be easily reached on foot in about 1.5-2 hours (one of the most beautiful
Panoramic mountains in the Salzburg region) with a panoramic view of all well-known, well-known peaks such as Goßglockner,
Sonnblick and Dachstein and much more.

Haus Rettenstein, which owes its name to the fact and remembers that during the last plague the population was able to save itself here, is today a wonderful place for couples, families and friends' cliques to relax (actively) together ,
