Welcome to Casa Fitzcarraldo: our 8 person family house which we (a Dutch family) own and cherish since the year 2000.

The house is over 100 years old and offers a wonderful rustic atmosphere. It lies circa 100 meters above the lake in an old 'borgo' without traffic. The house has modern facilities and provides everything you need. It does have various stairs so is a bit less suitable for guests who have difficulty walking.

Centrepiece of the house is the huge terrace with magnificent views on Lake Como. A long stairway provides direct access to a little beach at the lake.

We have a reserved parking spot at 100 meters distance from the house.

The region around Como has a lot to offer. Enjoy the lake's refreshing water in summer. Visit the many nice villages (also by ferry), the famous Bellagio or the city of Como. You can also drive into the mountains for hiking and beautiful views of the Alps. Of course there are many good Italian restaurants and agriturismos. And cyclists can make fantastic rides and must visit the Madonna del Ghisallo church.
