Villa Xara is furnished with love and care and has a breathtaking view over the valley full of olive groves and the bay of Damnoni on the Libyan Sea. All rooms have a view of the terrace and the valley and the sea.
Inside
The villa consists of 2 parts: a main building and a studio (bedroom + bathroom). In the main building is the living room with open kitchen, the master bedroom with king-size bed and its own bathroom. The studio has 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom. You reach the studio via the private terrace. Between the main building and the studio is an outdoor kitchen and the swimming pool (infinity pool).
All rooms have air conditioning and silent ceiling fans. From the living room and the bedrooms you can step onto the terrace with the beautiful view. Everything is on one level and this makes this villa very suitable for people with walking difficulties. We think the villa is not adapted for very young children under 6 because of the pool.
Do you have any allergies? Then this villa is definitely something for you. The villa is designed with hypoallergenic materials and also the pool offers a salt chlorination system which eliminates the need for chloride.
Outside
The terrace offers a wonderful space to relax. There is an outdoor shower, bbq (electric), sun loungers around the pool, parasols, a dining table with chairs and an outdoor kitchen. You can enjoy yourself here to the fullest. Villa Xara is located in a complex of 12 individual villas. Each villa has its own entrance, infinity pool, outdoor kitchen and sitting area, as well as a small garden. The villas are designed to maintain your absolute privacy.
Please note: the villa is less suitable for young children (under 6) without a swimming certificate. In addition, the main guest must be at least 25 years old. Furthermore, this villa is not suitable if you wish to go horse riding during your stay in Crete.
Surroundings
This part of Crete is still very rugged and has many olive trees and beautiful beaches with crystal clear water. Here you can take long walks and marvel at the beautiful views every time. You can also take guided walks, diving or mountain biking. Or how about a nice relaxing massage with olive oil? Enjoy the beautiful sunset on a terrace or in one of the beach bars.
The village of Mariou is about 10 minutes walk from the villa. The beaches are 4 km from the villa and also Plakias with its many tavernas, coffee shops and beach bars is 4 km. The authentic and cozy Rethymno is 30 km, about 40 minutes drive.
