Lapa, the aristocratic neighborhood in the center of Lisbon, is a historical residential area where most of the embassies of other countries are based. The street where House in Lapa is located is very quiet and safe but a few steps away you find a district full of life with nice restaurants and shops, the beautiful garden “Jardim da Estrela” with his tree shaded cafés and a supermarket. This peaceful district, in direct relation with the garden and the cathedral, is occupied by old buildings, which still maintain their original traces, where Portuguese families live and enjoy their weekends. This place, through centuries, has attracted very important artists, intellectuals and politicians.


You’ll find a completely renovated, early 20th-century ground floor house, in the heart of Lisbon. There’s a comfortable bedroom (with a double bed and a closet); a bathroom; a kitchen (with fridge, microwave, oven, stove, toaster and juice presser); a small living room (with a sofa-bed and television); a small dining room and a big backyard. You’ll also find wireless internet and music columns so that you can listen to music. A small mattress is available for free for a fourth child.
