The Azenha de São Mamede is the result of the recovery of a water mill located in the Natural Park of the Serra de São Mamede. It is intended to accommodate those who want tranquility and communion with Nature. In addition to several places of interest nearby (Portalegre, Marvão, Castelo de Vide, ..) is the ideal space to start hiking and enjoy peace and quiet throughout the property. The property allows the isolation since it is not next to other dwellings; around the property there are other houses that are 200m, 350m and 550m away from the Azenha de São Mamede. The accesses are good; from the paved road to the Azenha there is a dirt track with about 200m.
During summer, apart from the pleasure you can enjoy by being by a stream, a removable swimming pool of about 4mX2mx1,20m is installed.
In the area where the house is located, the mobile network available is Vodafone, with a 100% signal; if you are a foreign traveler you should check if your operator is a Vodafone network partner. The two other larger networks in Portugal, MEO and NOS have no signal in the area.
