It is ideally located for exploring the island, with easy access to the north and its fabulous landscapes across the Ribeira Brava. Porto Moniz and its natural pools are just 35 minutes away. Sport fishing and dolphin and whales at Marina da Calheta.

The patio of the house offers a fabulous panoramic and unobstructed view of the ocean. A real paradise where you have a view of the sea and the mountains.

There are 2 (Madalena do Mar and Achada) of the more than 200 trails crossing masses of basalt rock on the island, taking hikers into a rare natural world. Throughout these irrigation channels you will come across species of fauna and flora you will find hardly anywhere else in the world, in the traditional Laurissilva forest of Madeira, which has been declared a World Natural Heritage Site.

Nearby you can find small markets, restaurants and bars where you can taste the famous Poncha da Madeira.
