This place is very close to the Spanish border, a few kilometers from the city of Badajoz, approximately 45 minutes by motorway from the center of the city of Mérida, 15 kilometers from the city of Elvas recently recognized by UNESCO for the enormous value and heritage of its walls and never forgetting the peculiar and very special Vila de Campo Maior where the rural house is located and which offers us excellent regional cuisine in several restaurants in the region, has a strong cultural component with its castles, museums and local particularities , such as the chapel of bones, one of the few existing in the world, the convent of Santa Beatriz, the Casa Museu de Santa Beatriz among many other points of local interest.
