Situated in the north bank of the Ave river, this stately home is also close to the Peneda Gerês National Park, allowing you to explore this beautiful region, to meet local people and to admire a wide variety of untouchable flora and fauna.
The ancient towns of Póvoa de Lanhoso, Fafe and Guimarães are just about half an hour drive, allowing memorable visits to Roman roads, rocky castles, medieval towers and bridges, Romanesque and Baroque churches and leaving a delicate picture of twisted threads of gold and silver days spent here.
