Set in the quiet coastal hills of Arco da Calheta, Villa Morze is an intimate retreat surrounded by banana trees and the endless horizon of the Atlantic. Less than 150 metres from the ocean, the villa captures the essence of Madeira’s west coast: secluded, sun-drenched and defined by tranquillity. The sound of the waves is constant, a natural rhythm that shapes each moment of the day.

The house blends the authenticity of Madeiran vernacular architecture with the serenity of Scandinavian and Mediterranean design. Whitewashed walls, green shutters and terracotta tiles honour local tradition, while the interiors, designed by Atelier Alpendre, evoke calm and light through natural textures, pale woods and soft linen tones. Every space feels connected to nature, bright, balanced and quietly elegant. A discreet commitment to sustainability complements this atmosphere, with renewable energy systems and thoughtful eco-friendly practices that harmonise with the landscape.

Spread across three levels, Villa Morze accommodates up to six guests. The middle floor houses three serene bedrooms: a queen en suite with shower, a second queen room and a twin room sharing a full bathroom. A half bathroom serves the living area upstairs. On the top floor, the open-plan living and dining area offers sweeping ocean views, flowing into a traditional Madeiran kitchen where wooden cabinetry and floral tiles recall the island’s heritage.

Outdoors, a large terrace faces west, revealing uninterrupted views of the sea and the setting sun. The space is arranged for slow breakfasts, al fresco lunches and long evenings under the warm light of dusk. Below, a rustic barbecue area built in basalt stone provides a convivial setting for gatherings, framed by the sound of the ocean and the scent of salt in the air.

The villa is equipped for comfort and simplicity: high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen and a private parking area. Every detail invites stillness, with soft linens, natural light and the ever-present murmur of the sea.

Despite its secluded atmosphere, Villa Morze is just a few minutes from the marina and beach of Calheta, supermarkets and local restaurants. The expressway nearby connects easily to the island’s main attractions while preserving the sense of remoteness that makes this place special.

To preserve the tranquil atmosphere, parties and large gatherings are not allowed.

3. Pets
Pets are not permitted on the property.

4. Quiet Hours
Please keep noise to a minimum between 22:00 and 08:00, out of respect for the surrounding environment.

5. Check-In & Check-Out
Kindly respect the scheduled check-in and check-out times to help ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience. Check-ins are welcomed until 22:00. For arrivals after this time, a €32 supplement for night-time coordination applies. This can be settled via the online check-in form or, if not completed in advance, on arrival.

6. Neighbour Awareness
Please remain mindful of the local community throughout your stay.

7. Furnishings and Amenities
All furnishings and amenities are provided for your enjoyment throughout the stay. Kindly ensure that no items are removed from the property.

8. Additional Guests or Visitors
Only guests included in the reservation are allowed on the premises.

9. Insects & Wildlife
This property is located on Madeira Island, known for its lush nature and subtropical climate. Depending on the season, occasional sightings of insects or small wildlife may occur. While regular pest control is in place, a fully insect-free environment cannot be guaranteed. We recommend keeping windows closed, storing food securely, and managing waste appropriately to help maintain comfort.

10. Tourist Tax
As part of local requirements, a tourist tax of €2 per person per night (up to 7 nights, for guests aged 13 and above) will be collected during check-in via the registration form. This contribution is forwarded directly to the municipality.
