Mar Apartment, nestled above the colourful fishing harbour of Câmara de Lobos, welcomes up to 3 guests in a bright one-bedroom unit with a comfy double sofa-bed in the lounge. The open-plan kitchen includes hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, cookware, crockery and cutlery, so you can try local produce picked up at nearby supermarkets. A modern shower room, washing machine, hairdryer, bed linen and towels are all provided.



Stay entertained with a smart TV and enjoy the convenience of private indoor parking for one car. A travel cot and high chair are available on request. Check-in is possible any time between 16:00 and 05:00, and smoking is not allowed inside.



From your base it’s a 5-minute drive to Cabo Girão’s glass-floor skywalk, the highest sea cliff in Europe, for sweeping Atlantic vistas. Keen walkers can join the Levada do Norte trail close by ([Levada do Norte, while the harbour bars serve traditional poncha in the evenings. Historic Funchal (10 min by car) offers the cable car to Monte, tropical gardens and Mercado dos Lavradores.



We recommend hiring a car to explore Madeira’s winding scenic roads, but buses and taxis are also on hand for shorter trips.



Tourist Tax

The City Hall charges a local Tourist Tax per guest per night:

– €2 per night, up to 7 consecutive nights

– children under 13 are exempt

This fee is collected by us and passed on to the authorities; full payment details are sent a few days before arrival.
