Apartment

Refúgio no Funchal is a renovated apartment with air conditioning in a building located in Funchal city centre.

The accommodation is 50 m2 and consists of a bedroom with double bed (160x200 cm), private bathroom with shower, kitchen and living room with dining area. The balcony has a small table and two chairs.

It is equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, vitroceramic stove, oven, microwave and other kitchen utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and television with international channels, among other amenities for provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.



LOCATION

The apartment is near the city centre, about 10 to 15 minutes’ walk from the Old City Zone (historic centre) and the seaside.

Nearby there are cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, grocery stores, wine cellars, shops, museums, pharmacies and clinics.

Although a car is not necessary, there are two public car parks 300 m from the building. Free parking possible at night and weekends in nearby streets.

The Aerobus stop is at 650 m. There are bus stops within walking distance and by car there is easy access to Funchal's main roads and to the highway to discover the island.



REMARKS

Cleaning is done before check-in and there is weekly cleaning, which includes a change of bed linen and towels.

There is a street passing in front of the building where there is potential noise from traffic, mainly during the day and if windows are open.

Due to the island's climate, insects can occur unexpectedly. To avoid attracting insects, it is important to clean up leftover food and keep food well packaged.

People who are sensitive to mosquito bites are advised to use insect repellent when travelling around the island.



CONDITIONS

1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.

2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.

3. Guests must agree the check-in time at least two days before arrival and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.

4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.

5. Guests must inform about allergies, conditions or special needs before or immediately after booking in order to verify compliance and appropriate measures to be taken.
