Visit Marvão, the highest village in Alentejo (865 m above sea level), in the heart of the São Mamede Natural Park. At the top of Serra do Sapoio, it reveals a magnificent and historic setting of granite rocks and walls that encircle the town. Go down the mountain and then stop at Portagem, cool off in the pool or on the river beach of the River Sever.
