Summary:
This 3rd floor charming and sunny apartment is located in a recently renovated early 20th century building, right in the center of the Porto's old town.
Wake up in a bright apartment full of local character, featuring a ceiling fan in the bedroom for warm days, kitchenette, a juliet balcony and washing machine. The design combines comfort with simplicity which is great for travelers who value authenticity. Like many heritage gems, there’s no elevatorand occasional sounds from the wooden stairs may be heard, adding to the authentic charm and atmosphere of old Porto. Just outside, charming cafés, restaurants, and boutique shops invite you to explore the city on foot.

The Space:
We furnished, decorated and stocked the apartment with products made by young Portuguese designers, artists and producers, so you can feel Porto’s heart without leaving home, while supporting small scale entrepreneurs.

Guest Access:
The apartment is located on the 3rd floor and accommodates up to 2 people and has all amenities needed for you to feel at home.

The Neighborhood:
The Taipas area is one of Porto’s most authentic and charming corners, quietly tucked between the lively Clérigos Tower and the scenic Virtudes Garden. Staying here means experiencing the very heart of the city, where tradition meets local life.
Just around the corner, you’ll find some of Porto’s most iconic sights: the Clérigos Tower, the beautiful Lello Bookstore, and the picturesque Virtudes viewpoint overlooking the Douro River - perfect for sunsets and photos. São Bento Station, Ribeira, and Avenida dos Aliados are all within a short, pleasant walk.
The neighborhood has a true local feel, with cobbled streets, tiled façades, and family-run cafés where you can enjoy an espresso like a local. Small wine bars, creative restaurants, and artisan shops fill the surrounding streets, giving you a taste of both historic charm and modern Portuguese life.
Peaceful yet central, Taipas is ideal for travelers who want to explore Porto on foot while staying in a neighborhood that captures the city’s warmth, culture, and authentic rhythm.
