Inserted in one of the Patios of the historic area of the city, it enjoys absolute tranquillity and stays some steps away from all the plump and cultural party in Lisbon.

Inserted on the 1st hill of the 7 hills of Lisbon - Colina de São Jorge, is the highest hill and covers the neighbourhoods of Mouraria and a part of Alfama, as well as the area of St Jorge’s Castel. Here, you can find the first buildings that gave rise to the city. It also has some of the best views in the entire city.
Mouraria is well known for its multiculturalism. Restaurants, shops, bars, fado houses, is a neighbourhood full of life!
Martim Moniz Square is 3 steps away with a direct connection to Rossio.
This entire area was practically devastated by the 1755 earthquake and then rebuilt. Walking through streets and alleys, we come across spaces of rare beauty, such as small corners, viewpoints, São Jorge Castle and its views, noble spaces that live happily with the modest residences of our Lisboners.

Lisbon is a beautiful walk, but it can be tough, at the end of the day it is natural to be tired: Use the electric stairs of Escadinha da Saúde and stay almost at home :-)
At Praça Martim Moniz is the metro stop (Green line), the stops of trams 28 and 12, the stops of buses: 760, 708, 734, 736, 208
Be aware that taxis in Lisbon do not have the costs of other European capitals. Coming by taxi from near the river (Praça do Comércio / Cais do Sodré / ...) to the apartment can cost around 7 € ;-)
