Two splendid separate houses, appealing to large groups or sharing families, are each furnished to exacting standards, one with two double bedrooms and two twins, and the other with one double bedroom and two twins, ideally sitting amidst colorful terraced gardens that are sprinkled with bright colorful flowerbeds, orange and olive trees. Large solid wooden French windows to the delicious view across the pretty countryside that surrounds the nearby town of Ponte de Lima: the patchwork of green fields, tidy vineyards and the backdrop of mountains stretch out beyond the grounds. Down below, the placid Rio Trovela is well-known locally for its trout.
The traditional kitchen, with its stone flagged floor, stunning beamed ceiling and enormous original fireplace, has been converted to create an attractive dining room, whilst the living room, covered by pattern rugs, is so ample that it is not only an area of soft furnishings but also a billiards table. Behind the main house, lies a private swimming pool with roman steps, surrounded by inviting lawns.
