Apartment Laranjeiras is a two bedroom house sleeping, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen situated in a very quiet place in Calheta. You can reach the nearest beaches Calheta Beach in just 5 minutes by car. You can also reach the mountains in 10 minutes by car. The house has a fantastic network of trails and levadas. There are 2 (25 fountains and rosemary levada) of the more than 200 trails crossing the island's basaltic masses, taking the hiker into a rare natural world. Along these irrigation canals you will come across species of fauna and flora found almost anywhere in the world, in the traditional Madeira Laurissilva Forest, which has been declared a World Natural Heritage.
Nearby you will find small markets, restaurants and bars where you can taste the famous Poncha da Madeira.
