Nearby to the Train Station of Álora, with Local Trains to Málaga Centro, Airport, Ronda, Seville, El-Chorro (Caminito del Rey) therefore no need to Rent a car, although it is recommended if you want to Enjoy the Countryside more.
Lovely walks nearby, good for Hiking, Bicycling, Climbing and Of Course to do the World Famous Caminito del Rey. Álora Town is a 10 min walk Up Hill but there are Cafes and Restaurants in the Train Station.
